Sanremo Music Festival: what do you need to know

by Sara Cippo and Clara Mancino

Every year, in Italy in the month of February a music festival takes place in Sanremo, Liguria. It’s broadcasted on our national tv station.

During the 2nd week of February (from the 7th to the 11th) the 67th edition of “Sanremo Music Festival” took place. The festival was born in 1940 when, after the end of Fascism, Italian economy was in tatters. Thanks to this was born the Festival of Italian Songs.

important.
We may perceive music in various ways, it may awake a range of emotions and associations, but we are all not unresponsive to music.
