TERRORISM IS AGAINST THE ISLAM VALUES

by Erradi Firdaous
I read everything and even more on the Internet after the storm provoked by the terrorist attack in Paris. I read too many things, too many frenzies, too many meaningless sentences. I heard too many people speaking of something they don’t know. Too much
ignorance.

Bran Castle was initially built in 1212 to serve as a fortress. Today, tourists from all over the world come to visit the famous castle, which is known as being Dracula’s home, the first vampire ever.
Considering that Vlad Ţepeş was compared to Dracula because of his authoritative reign and the “blood thirst”, it was supposed that he lived in the Bran Castle, although he never did. Bram Stoker chose him to be the main character in his novel, the book being published in 1897.

TERRORISTS ATTACK PARIS

By Ioana Barbura, IXth C grade Coordinating teacher: Tamara Motorga; School: Samuil Vulcan National College

It is a dull and rainyday in Paris. People are after their problems, knowing nothing about panic, fear, bloody fights and chases, as in thrillers, and terror hidden behind the peace of that morning.
On the 7th of January 2015 a group of terrorists, belonging to the Islamic State and having as leaders the Cherif and Said Kouachi brothers, begins a terrorist attack on the Charlie Hebdo satirical magazine. They could no longer accept the offences and the caricatures of the Prophet Mohammed. Ten people and two police officers die in this attack. The France police and special forces troops try to reduce the number of  victims and to capture the terrorists.

THE WHOLE WORLD SAYS # JE SUIS CHARLIE

By Mădălina BONCHIȘ , IXth B grade Coordinating teacher: Ioana Lacrimioara RADA; School: Samuil Vulcan National College

The 7th of January 2015 will remain like a scar in the heart of France after two members of Al-Qaida killed 17 people in cold blood, 12 of whom being part of the Charlie Hebdo magazine editorial staff.
The whole tragedy occurred because of the publication of caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad, to whom the Arab extremists have responded in an unexpected way. The caricatures are actually illustrated satires used to straighten some habits, not to insult or mock people or events; therefore they must be treated properly. These exaggerated reactions must be stopped because it is unacceptable for the whole population to stand in fear of being attacked or even killed because they freely express their view.

Romania is a beautiful country that is worth being visited by tourists from all over the world. There are many beautiful places here, places that I visited myself last year. These beauties aren’t given the credit they so deserve, so I will become the promotor of my country, the developer of the western area of Romania. I will plead for the beauties of the mountains that stole my heart last summer: the Codru-Moma Mountains.
