We left from our school on Friday 22nd at 7.30 pm. We arrived at Santiago’s airport at 8.30 pm. We took the plane after doing the control and we got to Madrid at 11 pm. We slept at Viky’s hostel, but we only slept more or less half an hour.
On Saturday we had to get up at 5.30 am and we took the plane to Cracow at 7.30 am. We arrived at Cracow at 11 am and we went to our hotel ‘Tuttifrutti’ to leave there our luggage. We went for a walk in the city centre, and we bought some presents for our families. We saw some important monuments.
Beautiful buildings on our way to Galeria Krakowskato get some zlote!
Later in the evening, we had dinner in McDonald’s. We had to sleep with the boys because we had a problem with some boys from another country, but this is another story.
On Sunday 24th, we went for a walk in the Jewish Quarter where we could see some important synagogues and the cementery. My favourite synagogue was Stara Synagoga, it was very beautiful and big. We had lunch at Restauracja Szara. After having lunch, the teachers allowed us to go for a walk and see some things.
In the photograph, you can see tasteful Pierogi.
In the afternoon, we left Cracow and went to Tychy. We had a rest because we were tired. On Monday, we went to Bieruń and visited the school, I liked it because it was huge! We did some activities related to the project and, in the afternoon, we went to Tychy. On Tuesday we went again to Cracow.
On Wednesday we went to the school and worked again for the project, we recorded the interviews. On Tuesday we visited Auschwitz, the visit was tough because we remembered what had happened there and some of us cried. In the evening we had the farewell dinner, but we didn’t eat anything because we were dancing and having fun.
On Friday, we were just the Swedish group and the Spanish group left, together with the Polish one, and we made some sport activities and some more work on the project, too. We had to choose topics for the initial tests next year.
The sports pavilion, which belongs to the Town Hall and it's communicated to the schools by mans of stairs and a corridor.
On Saturday we finally went home, it was a great journey but we were very tired. For me this project is very useful for meeting people and cultures from other countries and we can practice English too.
