The people of Krakow in times of terror 1939-1945-1956

In Poland there is a museum called Muzeum Historyczne Miasta Krakowa. There are several different exhibitions. During the World War 2, Gestapo's headquarters was located in Krakow, at Pomorska street. Today it is a place for national memories and also the most important point in the exhibition we went to:  The People of Krakow In Times of Terror 1939-1945-1956. This exhibition told us about the interesting, but also the very terrible history of the city. Where the Polish people fought for freedom and justice.

AN UNEXPECTED SHOW.

On our recent trip to Bierun, in Poland, we went on a trip to the Beskidy mountains, quite close to Bierun. We visited Lesny Park, a nice place in the middle of the forest where you can walk amongst animals like fallow deers or some kind of goats and you can even breed them. As well you see some other types of animals in fenced spaces while you go for a walk in the park. 

    

A Short History of the Radio

First the telegraph and, a bit later, the telephone, together with some important discoveries in the field of physiscs contributed, by the end of the 19th century, to the 
birth of the radio as a means of transmitting sound from one place to another. Since 
that time to present day, with all our wireless devices, a long way has been walked! 
Let's explore it a little bit through this brief exhibition. 
It was carried out at I.E.S. de Catabois by late March, 2015.
