Every year at the beginning of January there is a huge charity festival in Poland. It is called the Grand Finale of Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity. Without any doubts, it has become the biggest money collection event in our country. The day of Finale is very joyful with lots of free concerts and feasts. About 120 000 volunteers help to raise the money, which are spent for medical equipment and for supporting different medical national programmes.

COME BACK OF LOGICAL GAMES
This game was
constructed over 40 years ago. It is noteworthy, as there are not many toys
that last longer than a generation. Rubik, a Hungarian architect, after
designing the cube realized that he couldn’t actually solve the puzzle. The cube, made up of nine colour squares
on each side, can be rearranged in 43 000 000 000 000 000
000 different ways. After a month Rubik finally figured it out.

THE HOMELESS PEOPLE'S PROBLEMS
by Daria Blacha, Gimnazjum nr 2 im. św. Walentego w
Bieruniu
Winter came and the temperature in Poland often falls
down below 0° C. Cold weather kills many people, mostly the homeless. At least
38 people have died in Poland since November.
According to the European Federation of National Organizations Working with
the Homeless (FEANTSA), there are at least 200,000 homeless people in Poland.
“Only 10-15 percent of those people are able to find accommodation provided by
organizations working with the homeless,” the group said. “The homeless often
find themselves with no options for shelter or social services.”WIKIPEDIA'S FAME
