In 2014, four stars released their new albums. We, just like the other fans around the world, are very excited about it.
Taylor Swift's single 'Shake It Off' heralded her new album called 1989. The album appeared in October and became the best-selling album of 2014, reaching over 3,5 million copies, despite being on sale only for nine weeks.
Lady Gaga worked together with a jazz artist Tony Bennett. Cheek to Cheek was released on the 22nd September. The album received the Grammy nomination, for the 57th Annual Grammy Awards, which will be held on the 8th of February 2015.
British boys bands created some new songs in November. One Direction (abbreviated as 1D) released his fourth album called simply Four. Short after premiere it became number one (not four) in many countries.
In November we could listen to the new album prepared by Take That (III).
We feel a bit disappointed as some promised albums weren’t released in 2014. It concerns Adele, Rihanna, Florence and the Machine. We hope to listen to their new songs in 2015!
