We were very happy to live for a week in a Spanish family, because we were able to get to know a bit Spanish culture and traditions. We noticed some similarities and differences between our countries.
Staying at Noa’s family we ate toasts with ham, cheese or jam for breakfast. We drank orange juice and cocoa too. That menu varied from our Polish one. In our country we generally eat 'salty' and big breakfast, for example roll or bread with butter, ham, tomato, cucumber, lettuce, cheese and we drink tea or coffee.

During our visit to Ferrol we had to be at school at 8.40 and classes finished about 2 o’clock. At our school we have usually 6 – 7 classes per day, but they are scheduled between 8.00 am and 4.00 pm. We liked your system of classes: 90 minutes for studying and then half an hour break. Our classes last 45 minutes and the breaks are much shorter – mostly 5 or 10 minutes.
In the afternoons and evenings the Spanish spend much more time in restaurants or pubs than Poles and they go to sleep much later. Staying in Ferrol we followed that style and we enjoyed it. On the other hand, it was difficult for us to wake up in the morning and we were tired very often.

Thank you Noa and all Spanish team!
