“Did you have a dream detector?” children asked, hugging the volunteers. The volunteers brought them lots of boxes just before Christmas. Children are founding the toys they have been dreaming about.
How does it work?
The volunteers look for families with financial problems. Next they talk to the members of a family and gain some information about their problems, needs and dreams. Then the description is publicized on the Internet. The family is of course anonymous. On that step it is time for donors’ move. The donors are usually families, groups of friends, schools or companies. They choose the family that they are going to help. The gifts are often very huge; on average 30 people prepare “The Noble Box“ just for one family. The donors are anonymous, too. Before Christmas the volunteers deliver the presents to proper people. There are a lot of tears and strong feelings. The people, who are given the gifts, get not only some goods but also the joy of living and the hope for better life.
Clever way to help…
Our school has been taking part in “The Noble Box project” for a few years. I hope the action will be inspiring for you. We all know that it is good to help...
