THE YOUNG ”EMPLOYEES”

We all know how difficult it is to be young, but, not many of us know what it is to be young and in search of a life path with full education and a job. In Romania it is difficult enough for many young people, but that's all about to change.

The EU is working to reduce youth unemployment and to increase the youth employment rate in line with the wider EU target of achieving a 75% employment rate for the working-age population (20-64 years).
The European Commission is going to have to provide 6 billion euros in developing employment amongst young people. This provides a stunning advantage for young Romanians who usually go abroad to find a place to work. Member States have joined the initiative, which aims to offer young people under 25 employment opportunities for apprenticeships or training.
This is an outstanding opportunity for young people around the world because there are many young talents who, unfortunately, can't find a good job in their country. Just think of a utopian country where everyone gets the chance to employment after graduation. Romanian young people are about to be given this amazing opportunity.
The initial number of beneficiaries would only be between 14,000 and 22,000, but it is assumed that it will reach a number between 350,000 and 650,000 young beneficiaries. The legislative proposal is to be discussed in the European Parliament and  Council.
We can only hope for a better future for the unexperienced, but gifted, young people who need to be given a chance. We are waiting for this project to expand as soon as possible and we are looking forward to seeing  its effects.

  1. I think it is a grate idea for the young to get a job after graduation. As living in Romania i know that this is a problem for our country because a lot of young people graduate and many of them can't find a job in their specific working area . I really hope this project will develope as soon as possible .
