Historical influences on the 2016 presidential election in the USA

The USA has one of the most convoluted and interesting stories from all continents, combining two populations. The first one was a country that was placed on the ground north of America, which contained Native Americans, which stand on those lands for thousands of years. Through the famous Christopher Columbus, Europeans began to settle over the ocean, the plains and near rivers, full of natural treasures that caused a great interest for our continent neighbours. Initially Europeans formed colonies, especially English colonies which then formed states, and after the formation of states and their unification followed, resulting the USA.

But a more detailed analysis, the unification was a complicated and tough process because of the different mentality of the American states.  America was divided into North, which was against slavery, and South, which was pro slavery. Slavery was a very cruel and severe phenomenon most endured by  the colour Africans which were taken by force on slaves’ ships and put to forced labor, without having any right.  After the famous Civil War, slavery was removed and people of colour were named US citizens, but a very bad fact was keeping the racist sentiments that some Americans have preserved today.

Dance as Liberation:
More recently, the USA has become “the USA, the country of opportunities “, so this vast country and prosper economically came to accept both legal and slightly illegal all kind of people, from Mexican, Spanish, Italians and possibly from all countries. Contemporary racist problems against Latinos and people of color, problems that should not exist in a state of such power and global importance. Unfortunately, many Americans possess and wish to propagate the idea of racism and want to remove these people from so-called “holy land”.
At the democratic presidential elections in 2016, the most important candidates were Hillary Clinton, the wife of former president Bill Clinton, and Donald Trump, a notorious tycoon known for his nationalism.
Unfortunately, the one who won the election was Donald Trump, not necessarily because of a policy for the prosperity of the USA, but for the support given by citizens in exchange for promises of a racist and extremist behaviour targeting direct attack on immigrants in the USA. He wishes as stated in several televised conferences and official statements, more joking or more seriously, build a huge wall between Mexico and the USA, which separates the two countries and send all Latinos where they belong.       This is just one example of the dirty war that Trump took to win the elections, he getting to say in a debate indirectly that a woman has no place at the head of the White House and when he will be the president Hillary Clinton will be imprisoned.
With a politically weak plan for citizens and a large and thriving one for industry, with the voters’ support and  love,  which are driven by common characters that the former Southerners had, Trump has managed to come out the winner and now is 45th president of the USA.
In conclusion, I believe that this year's elections were influenced by historical characters that unfortunately have remained today in the blood of American citizens.
Due to the fear of having a woman president, which would support the person itself, not the nationality, now one of the world’s  powers is led by a man that is based on evil historical characters and racism, for which other shed their blood to remove them.
