The Triathlon World Champion is one of us, people from Ferrol. Javier Gómez Noya won in Edmonton and got his fourth world title.

His advantage over Jonathan Brownlee, his main rival in the championship, was 282 points, what meant that the seventh position was enough whatever his rivals did.
This year, he won in Auckland, Yokohama, Cape Town and Chicago, being fourth in Hamburg and London.
With these results, he achieved the needed points to be proclaimed World Champion. His fourth world crown since 2008, what makes him a legend already, and the best athlete ever in Ferrol.
