Emma Watson has started a campaign for gender equality called HeForShe.
She has also given a formal invitation to the men to participate. This is a big
problem in the society of today and with this campaign she wants the world to
take a step in the right direction for gender equality.

The Eurasian Jay, an incredible bird.

There’s a bird called Eurasian jay (whose scientific name is Garrulus Glandarius) which shares a lot of common traits with the Erasmus Project we’re working on.
He belongs to the ravens (Corvidae, birds of the crow family) well known because of their awesome intelligence comparable to the mammalian abilities.

Max Planck Science Center to be established in Konya
Turkey's first Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey- (TÜBİTAK) funded science center in the central city of Konya will introduce the Max Planck Science Tunnel, which has drawn 10 million visitors in 30 cities of 18 countries, from Friday to May 31. Mayor Tahir Akyürek said the interest in the center established by the municipality increases each day.
Turkey ranked 12th biggest book publisher
Turkey claims the 12th place in 2014 in the world regarding the number of published books and the capacity of its publishing industry. The director of the General Directorate of Libraries and Publications, Hamdi Turşucu, said that the number of book fairs in Turkey has increased and their quality has improved, which pleases him and the directorate. He underscored the equality of the investments made to manpower and books for future generations, and said that the proof of it can be seen at book fairs.

The first Sicilian President

Sergio Mattarella was born on the 23rd July 1941. He is an Italian politician, lawyer and judge and the current President of Italy since his election on the 31st January 2015.
He was a Member of the Italian Parliament from 1983 to 2008, serving as Minister of Education from 1989 to 1990 and as Minister of Defence from 1999 to 2001. In 2011, he became an elected judge of the Constitutional Court. Mattarella is the 13th President of the Italian Republic and the first Sicilian.

'What's new on the news?' on the air.
In January, a group of students from IES de Catabois and the coordinator of the Erasmus + project 'What's new on the news?' were interviewed at the COPE radio station in Ferrol. It was a live programme with Ada Romero as interviewer and it was boadcasted at 13.05, on 20th January, 2015.
This radio station has shown a great interest towards our project since its very beginning and it keeps in touch with us, collaborating in the dissemination of it.

Turkish university develops new Turkish keyboard
Istanbul-based Boğaziçi University has developed a new keyboard with Turkish letters, the university announced on Feb. 24.
The new keyboard is called the “E keyboard,” and will compete with the previous F and Q keyboards for Turkish writers.

since the people in Gothenburg voted no to congestion taxes.
This article will present a background, the way to the vote and what has
happened afterwards. Some people involved have been interviewed and they have
also expressed their views about why the congestion taxes are still alive.
