Last Monday 20th February, a group of students and teachers coming from schools in Kungsbacka (Sweden), Yalova (turkey), Beius (Romania), Palermo (Italy) and Ferrol (Spain) were hosted by the Polish school Gimnazjum nr2 mi. sw. Walentego w Bieruniu in Bierun.
The schools are implementing an Erasmus + KA 2 project, called 'What's New on the News?' which investigates the media and the different means of communication in the world of news.
During their 7 days stay, the group carried out several activities directed towards the production of several pieces of news. The activities included meetings amongst teachers to agree on the next goals the project will aim to achieve, worshops amongst the students, trips to places such as: Krakow, the silver mines of Tarnowskie Góry, the Besidy mountains (wild birds show), visit to a radio station in Katowice and so on.
